"Sweet Beginnings" Receptions to Open Greek America Foundation's NYC Conference Weekend

The Greek America Foundation's National Innovation Conference & Forty Under 40 weekend in New York City will open with official "Sweet Beginnings" receptions in Soho, courtesy of Coco-Mat and Georgetown Cupcake on Friday, April 27, 2012.

At 8:00 pm, Coco-Mat will host a reception at their chic Soho store.  Guests will enjoy cocktails and comfort, sampling the amazing Coco-Mat mattresses, all handmade in Greece, from natural materials like seaweed, horsehair, goose down, wool and coconut or cactus fibers. 

Guests are invited to then saunter through Soho and attend a wine and cupcake reception at 9:00 pm, hosted for conference participants at the new Georgetown Cupcake shop in the heart of Soho. Katherine Kallinis and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne-- the Greek Canadian/American sisters whose international popularity has skyrocketed since opening their first Georgetown Cupcake shop in Washington DC-- have since become best-selling authors of "The Cupcake Diaries" and television stars with their hit show "DC Cupcakes" one of the top cooking/reality shows on TLC Channel.

The receptions are by invitation only to those people who have acquired tickets to either the National Innovation Conference or the Forty Under 40 Awards taking place that weekend in New York City.
